Date: Saturday, April 20,10:00am - 11:30am
Essential oils have a wide range of benefits for the skin. Incorporated into carrier oils, creams or lotions and applied topically, essential oils show antiseptic properties, stimulate the growth of new cells, improve blood circulation, reduce inflammation, and regulate sebum production. In this class you will learn which essential oils are best for problem skin and chronic skin conditions as well as oils to promote healthy, radiant skin. Cost of the class includes creating a product to take home.
Instructor: Sue Jordan, RN, BAN, CCAP, has enjoyed a 43 year career as practicing RN! She has used essential oils since 2004 and they often eliminated the need to “take a pill.” In 2014 Sue realized her dream of becoming a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner (CCAP). Sue enjoys teaching others about this complementary therapy that can improve overall well-being. Safe, knowledgeable, and appropriate use of essential oils is one of Sue’s overriding goals. As a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner, Sue provides clinical aromatherapy consultations and education about the history and clinical use of essential oils.
