Date: Saturday, June 8, 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Discover a naturopathic approach to brain health. We now live in a world were an increasing number of individuals are developing Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive decline. In this class, lead by Naturopathic Doctor, Emilie Wilson, we will focus on what the brain needs in order to function optimally. We’ll compare and contrast healthy brain function with early cognitive decline. We will also explore requirements for a healthy brain, including diet, lifestyle, and herbal therapies that support lifelong cognitive health.

Instructor: Dr. Emilie Wilson, ND, LAc

About the Instructor: Dr. Wilson is a Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist in practice in Prescott, Arizona. Her approach to naturopathic medicine is highly individualized. She spends time getting to know each patient’s history and healthcare goals. She works with her patients to uncover the root causes of their issues and to craft a treatment plan that supports their success using nutrition and lifestyle measures as well as supplements and herbal therapies.  Because she believes in addressing the root cause of illness, she often begins treatment by addressing adrenal, thyroid, and hormone health, as well as maximizing digestion. Dr. Wilson graduated from Prescott College, where she majored in Human Development and minored in Cultural Studies and Gender Issues. She attended Bastyr University in Seattle where she completed six years of medical training and graduated with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master’s in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine.
